From this week onwards the baby is considered full term and is supposed to be fully developed. Do not worry about the growth of the baby, if she delivers this week. In this week the baby almost puts on 30 grams per day.You can feel some changes in your breast. This is because she needs to breastfeed the baby after delivery and the milk is already being produced in the breast.

Pain is because the baby has descended to the lower part of the uterus and this is called lightening.
Your baby is safe as the baby born any time after this week will be able to survive well. The ultrasound shows the baby in the head down position and is approximately 2.2 kgs in weight and 19 inches long. Baby also has deposition of fat under its skin, this will help the baby to keep the temperature normal. The doctor will show you baby taking hiccups.
This is the 32nd week and you are almost ready for delivery. This means you are in your 8th month. You will feel a lot of uterine contractions during the day. Don't’ be scared. These contractions are practice contractions which the uterus does preparing for delivery. Moving around a little will decrease the contractions. Do not stand or sit in one place for a long time and rest as much as possible.
You are very hungry and feel like having something yummy and sour. Make sure that your food contains lots of vegetables as the next few weeks of pregnancy is very important and the weight of the baby and the mother tends to increase. Till now you have gained almost 9.5 kgs and this weight includes the weight of the baby, placenta fat, uterus and amniotic fluid.
You might feel little depressed in this week, which is the 30th week of your pregnancy. This is pretty normal for some pregnant women. You may get little concerned about your growing weight. You may also feel very tired. Light walking in the morning, along with yoga can help in relieving this tiredness. You should take breaks while walking.
This is 29th week. The baby is 1.8 kgs in weight and closes to 19 inches in height. Baby is slowly accumulating more fat and has less transparent skin. By the time the baby is born it would have doubled its weight. You may be feeling the kick of the baby very well. You have to do kick count two times in a day from now on.
In this week the doctor tells you a few things about gestational diabetes. 2 to 3 % of pregnant women could have gestational diabetes. That is the reason that all pregnant women are checked for gestational diabetes. This GD is usually seen during 24 to 28 weeks of pregnancy. GD is because of pregnancy hormones released by the placenta.
