The Pregnancy - Week 36

Written by

This is the 36th week and the baby is in the head down position and is lying on the bones of the pelvis. You are a little tired. You have been pregnant for the past 9 months and waiting to have a healthy baby. If you are worried about the health of the baby then don’t worry. It is very normal for every pregnant woman

- thinking about the health of their baby. Your family might notice mood changes in you. You have been of late getting upset and crying for small things. You have to continue to see your doctor every week for your check-ups. This is necessary to monitor the growth of the baby in the last few weeks. Rest as much as possible and also try to be around the house and not travel away from home. 36 weeks are done and baby is growing and occupying almost the entire uterus and does not have many places to move around. Baby is getting ready for delivery. If the baby is not head down, then the Doctor may try to turn the baby externally, if this is not possible, and if it gets complicated during delivery then you may have to go for C - Section. The baby is almost 20 inches in length and weighs 2.5 kgs. Baby is swallowing amniotic fluid and also passing urine into the amniotic sac. So now how many more weeks do You have to wait for delivery - this time can only determine.
