The Pregnancy - Week 38

Written by

This week the baby is almost fully developed. How many more weeks for your delivery? Don’t worry - It is going to be probably a few days more. You are also experiencing increased frequency of urination, breast pain, swelling in your hands and legs and acidity. If all these symptoms increase then do contact your Doctor. The ultrasound shows the baby’s 3.2 kgs and is almost 21 inches in height.

Now you may deliver anytime. Be ready with a name for the baby. Do not to sleep on your back. this can cause the reduced blood supply to the baby and also can cause difficulty in breathing in the mother. Sleeping on the side will be helpful. The doctor also tells you that the process of delivery can cause a lot of pressure on the baby’s head and baby’s head may be along in shape after birth.
