The Pregnancy - Week 35

Written by

For the last 4 weeks, You have been going for checkups to the hospital every week. You are going to get checked levels of the amniotic fluid and also urine for sugar and protein and your BP every time. This week you may complaints of acidity, backache, and pain in the vaginal area. Pain is because the baby has descended to the lower part of the uterus and this is called lightening.

This may also cause increased frequency of urination. The pain near the vaginal area is because of the pressure of the head of the baby on the nerves near the vaginal area. Take rest and sleep well. Now you may have a couple of weeks more for delivery or maybe a few more days. You are a little anxious. Be brave and take care of yourself and the little one growing in your uterus. Baby’s brain and spinal cord are all well developed and baby’s lungs are also 99% developed by this week.
