The Pregnancy - Week 33

Written by

So this is the beginning of the 9th month. The doctor checks your weight. You have gained almost 10 kgs from your pre-pregnancy weight. This is good. You may see an increase in weight by another 2 to 2.5 kgs in the next few weeks. Pregnant women may increase in weight by 450 grams and the baby also may gain weight especially in the last few weeks of pregnancy.

For the health of the baby, You have to incorporate a healthy lifestyle for the health of the baby. Nutritious food and mild exercise are good for you. You may find relief from your acidity by eating lots of fruits and vegetables. Drink lots of water. Your uterus is almost 5 inches above your umbilicus. In the last few weeks of pregnancy, the baby is gaining weight. You are experiencing decreased sleep in the night as she is getting bigger and is also feeling very uncomfortable. This is because the growing uterus pushes all the organs upwards. You are also feeling a little breathlessness. You will start feeling better in the next few weeks.
