The Prengancy - Week 8

Written by

In this week you may be experiencing vomiting, breast pain and increased frequency of urination. Nausea and vomiting is because of the hormones relating to pregnancy and also because of the increased production of acid in the stomach and decreased digestion. Eating more fruits and vegetables can reduce nausea and vomiting. The doctor may also prescribe some vitamin tablets for the relief of vomiting.

Increased frequency of urine could be because of increased blood volume during pregnancy and also because of the pressure of the increasing size of the uterus on the urinary bladder.  Breast pain is because of the increasing pregnancy hormones and also because of the beginning of milk production in the breast.

Warning signs -

Pain in the lower abdomen

Vaginal bleeding

A severe headache and vomiting and increased pain during urination along with fever and shivering.

In such conditions please contact your Doctor immediately.
