Written by

How your baby looks

She/he is as big as a Pineapple by the end of the 7th month of the pregnancy.

Your baby is 33-36 tall and now weighs 1-1.8 kilograms.

By the end of the seventh month, fat gets deposited on the fetus. It may suck on its thumb, hiccup, cry respond to stimuli including pain, light and sound.

You could be feeling

Feet and legs for swelling – many women experience edema at some point in pregnancy. To ease the discomfort – elevate your legs or lie down, preferably on your left side…Swelling usually is less in the morning and develops during the day. If your hands and face become puffy and edema persists for more then 24 hours without reducing, see your doctor. If accompanied by raised Blood pressure and protein in the urine it could be dangerous.

Tests this Month

It is recommended that you keep track of your unborn baby’s kick counts from about six months of pregnancy, as a way of making sure that she is OK. Each day, record how long it takes for your baby to make 10 kicks, flutters, swishes, or rolls. You should feel at least 10 movements within two hours, but you will probably feel that many movements in a much shorter amount of time.
